BERLINER WEIN TROPHY 2025 – DE<\/h1>

Bottega Gold Cru; Acino Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG<\/p><\/i> 18 April 2025<\/span><\/p>\n

At Berliner Wein Trophy 2025 the Bottega Gold Cru<\/a> and Acino D’Oro Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG<\/a> received gold medals.<\/p>\n

The Berliner Wine Trophy<\/a> is Germany’s most influential wine competition and the largest international wine concourse under the auspices of the OIV (International Organization Vine and Wine) and the UIOE (International Union of Oenologists). Therefore this event brings together well-known producers and distributors from around the world, and the number of samples submitted is steadily growing, with nearly 14,000 entries per year.<\/p>\n

The competition came under the wing of the OIV in 2004. So it was the first event to introduce oenological analyses of awarded wines, and supervision by legal professionals.<\/p>\n

In this occasion, thousands of wines from 40 different countries are submitted each year. All wines are tasted according to guidelines by a jury of 400 international experts. However, according to OIV rules, only 30 percent of the products tasted can receive an award.<\/p>\n

As a result, our Bottega Gold Cru vtg.2023 won the gold medal in the sparkling wine category.
\nThis is a Prosecco DOC Extra Brut part of the Premium Vintage Collection, a project developed by Bottega to enhance Prosecco.<\/p>\n

Bottega Gold Cru is characterized by a fine and persistent perlage, and its bouquet has refined fruity and floral notes, with hints of bread crust. Its taste is harmonious and elegant, with a balanced acidity and a pleasant persistence.<\/p>\n

Talking about red wines, our Acino D’oro Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG vtg.2021 won the gold medal in the red wine category.
\nChianti is one of the main wines of the great Italian winemaking tradition, and is named after the magnificent Tuscan territory where it originates.<\/p>\n

Acino D’oro Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is characterized by its ruby red color and its bouquet is complex with notes of violets, ripe fruit and vanilla and ending with balsamic notes.
