Limoncino

At the IWSC 2025 Limoncino Bottega was recognized as Gold Outstanding.

The IWSC – International Wine & Spirit Competition is not only a competition, but also a global wine and spirits community, focused on people and expertise.
The mission is to champion the best spirits from around the world.

The tasting is rigorous and structured: they use the “double-blind” method, whereby samples are tasted in numbered, pre-rimmed glasses to ensure that experts never see a bottle. An entire panel of judges tastes each product in sync, thus enabling group discussions.

On this occasion our Limoncino was valued as Gold Outstanding.

Gold Outstanding is the highest accolade awarded by the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC 2025). It signifies exceptional quality and is given to spirits that achieve a score of 98 points or more out of 100. Only a small percentage of entries achieve this distinction, about 3%.

Limoncino Bottega was described this way by the IWSC 2025 judges:

“Delightfully perfumed with sweet, zesty lemons and a delicate hint of sugar. The palate bursts with juicy purity, showcasing a harmonious balance of bright acidity and subtle bitterness. The finish is refreshingly crisp, with lingering citrus and mineral notes.”
