These awards place Bottega wines among the elite of global wine production.
The medals were awarded by a panel of distinguished experts, including Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers. According to the competition’s strict judging criteria, a Gold Medal wine is defined as “a brilliant wine that represents a benchmark for its category.”
The Prosecco Masters took place in London on March 11 and is one of the 32 Global Wine Masters competitions scheduled for 2026, organised by The Drinks Business, one of the leading international publications dedicated to the wine sector. Out of thousands of entries submitted, fewer than 20% were awarded a Gold or Master Medal, making this achievement a remarkable endorsement of the quality and excellence of Bottega wines.
